2IGTV Episode 52
In our first Mega-Monthly episode we've got so much stuff that we'll never fit it all into this post... ...but we'll try:
Bad news for Brett Ratner fans, good news for sane people. God is assembling Star Wars writers to bring his religion to Television. AT&T attempt daylight robbery. Tara Reid ain't stupid like Hilton and Lohan. A release date is set for Wolverine but Bubba Nosferatu falls off our radar. Turok to returns and both the Green Lantern and Max Payne are coming to Hollywood. Stallone to butcher a sacred franchise and more news on the WGA strike and it's bleak future.
All this and much more, PLUS an announcement you've all been waiting for: we've given into your incessant demands.
Grab it here.

I've not listened to the show yet, but is it the incessant demand for 2IGTV T-Shirts that you've capitulated to? it's T-Shirts right?.

With "Oversight" like that, it's no wonder that the military gets away with all it does :)

I've not listened to the show yet either, but I am the proud new owner of an Adam Hughes-designed Black Canary 'Women of the DC Universe' mini-bust, which really doesn't have anything to do with anything.

All I can say is it's about time! And the forum is incredibly buggy...
Posted by:Sam Moore | Friday, November 16, 2007 at 02:59
Buggy? Really? How so? Hey you haven't even signed up yet :)
Posted by:LtColonelCreedon | Friday, November 16, 2007 at 21:18
I haven't been able to because of said bugs. I'm going to try again regularly, though.

Yeah, I can't even get to the site now. I can even bring up the free forums home page. Somethings not right here...
Posted by:Sam Moore | Friday, November 16, 2007 at 22:03
That's really strange. Have you any problems accessing other forums using the same software in this case - phpBB. What about forums that use other software like Activeboard or vBulletin? Are you at work or at home? Some network admins disable access to forums in the workplace.

I'm at home, and I've never had problems with any of those formats. I'll give it another try.
Posted by:Sam Moore | Friday, November 16, 2007 at 23:01
Still no luck...
Posted by:Sam Moore | Friday, November 16, 2007 at 23:06
I've tried other freeforum sites, ans those are the only ones that I can't load. I'll try it on a different browser.
Posted by:Sam Moore | Friday, November 16, 2007 at 23:15
No difference...
DAMN YOU, FREEFORUMS.ORG!!!
Posted by:Sam Moore | Friday, November 16, 2007 at 23:21
Hmmm, they're not loading for ME now either.
Ah well you get what you pay for :/
Posted by:LtColonelCreedon | Friday, November 16, 2007 at 23:50
I suppose so...

No mailbag discussion?!
Unforgivable!
Posted by:Darragh | Saturday, November 17, 2007 at 13:28
Have you been able to use the forums, Darragh?
Posted by:Sam Moore | Sunday, November 18, 2007 at 05:45
Yeah, no problems at all for me! Not even once! I'm pretty surprised that you guys're having these problems...
Posted by:Darragh | Sunday, November 18, 2007 at 13:07
I think that I may have inadvertently passed my bad luck on to the Colonel when he offered to help...
Posted by:Sam Moore | Sunday, November 18, 2007 at 21:44
Ok Guys, we've broken Mark and the Lt.Col like 'lil girly men on the forum issue (even though it doesn't work), now is the time to push them on the t-shirts, We can beat them just keep harrassing them until they fold like cheap cardboard in the rain!
Posted by:CivilianOverseer | Sunday, November 18, 2007 at 23:18
Great idea! Oh, and excuse me, I meant to say the Lieutenant Colonel. ;-)
Posted by:Sam Moore | Monday, November 19, 2007 at 03:35
He wasn't correcting you Sam, Colonel is proper protocol for addressing a Lieutenant Colonel in speech. Mr. Overseer is just being fickle. I'm still trying to investigate the issue you have - I'm not going to leave a man behind!!!
Civvy: The main issue between T-Shirts and The Forums is that the Forums are free.
Posted by:LtColonelCreedon | Monday, November 19, 2007 at 23:34
Civvy, what kind of a t-shirt do you want? How good do they need to be? Mark-n-the Colonel've already got the artwork. All you really need is a heat transferable image. Epson sells transfer paper for inkjet printers. So you could have your design (front? back? large? small? B&W? color?) and iron it on to your shirt. You could even have a little "Civilian Overseer" name patch on there. You might have to fuss a bit with mirror imaging, but barring any supply issues, you could probably have your t-shirt ready for Thanksgiving. Which you don't celebrate, but it's only two days, which is my point. Or, if Mark and Our Beloved Leader wish more editorial control, they can manipulate the artwork and create a downloadable image file for the masses.

Connie One, the Lt.Col is not, I repeat not our fearless leader, if anything, he is our fraidy cat leader.
Connie Two, A downloadable image file for the masses seems like a suitable compromise, let us celebrate by the bringing together of gin & tonic.
Connie Three, a nice one, that shows off my rippling muscles to good effect.
Sam, One, the correct slang term for a Lt.Col is a Short Colonel, use it!
Sam, Two, the Lt.Col is infamous for leaving the men who have crossed him, behind, (ask Guns or Grunt)
Sam, Three, bearing in mind point two addressed to you above, it might be wise to disregard point one addressed to you above.

Right, Col., got it! Thanks for the help, whether it helps or not, Col.
Posted by:Sam Moore | Tuesday, November 20, 2007 at 23:20
Damn it! I got onto the forum site, but I couldn't complete the registration! It just won't load the final page of the registration process...
